Permanent Cosmetics Procedures Provide New Alternatives to Asians, Hispanics and African-Americans

(Las Vegas) - For most women in Southern Nevada, applying makeup is part of their daily morning routine. Although it is a popular and easy way to enhance one's appearance and facial features, some females find the beauty transformation a difficult process to tackle due to a lack of available shades and colors to match their skin tones.

The concept of permanent makeup is quickly becoming vital to a woman's life, said Mary Arnold, founder of Professional Permanent Cosmeticssm and a nurse for more than 30 years. The procedure is done through a tattooing process, called a micro pigmentation, in which pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin. The most common procedures have been permanent eyeliner, eyelash enhancements, eyebrows, lips and lip liner. Other procedures include camouflaging scars, hair simulation and covering up unwanted tattoos.

"Today, these measures are very helpful to all women; however, they are becoming highly prevalent in aiding women of Asian, Hispanic or African-American descent who have trouble finding makeup to match their skin tone or pigmentation," said Arnold. "Permanent makeup can provide an array of colors and shades to those who have difficulty finding the 'right' makeup. It eliminates having to continuously search and spend money on new makeup, and it awards self-confidence to women who want to look their best 24 hours a day."

I had a tattoo on the back of my neck. I was working for a dentist. I wanted to go to Dental hygiene school and tattoos that shows are out. I had to remove it or I could not get the education I wanted. I found Tattoo Vanish in the same area as the Dentist I was working for and I had a free consultation. It took about 6 treatments but it is gone and I am almost finished with school. I could not have gone to this school with out the help of Tattoo Vanish."
